Artist’s Notes:
Clouded is a very laid back piece that is meant to reflect on the numbness one feels when the mind is clouded. I wanted to capture the mix between paralysis and complete contentment that sometimes occurs during this time. Many of us have experienced this feeling, especially now, and know how strange it is. The model has a calm, but stiff expression and the background is a physical representation of the dueling emotions. The blue sky is the peaceful side, feeling at home in the mess, and the clouds are the panicked side, not knowing what to do in the moment. This causes the “Clouded” mind. I want people to understand that this feeling is beautiful and natural and that it is possible to come to terms with your mind.
